Join us for a virtual interview and Q&A with storyteller Nestor "the Boss" Gomez, as part of this summer's Many Voices, Many Stories summer reading program.

Nestor "the Boss" Gomez was born in Guatemala and moved to Chicago undocumented in the mid 80's. He told his first story at a Chicago Moth Slam as a way to finally get over stuttering. Surprisingly, he won the slam that night and has not stopped sharing stories ever since. Nestor is the creator, producer, curator, and host of 80 Minutes Around the World, a storytelling show that features the stories of immigrants, their descendants, and allies. Learn more about Nestor "the Boss" Gomez »
