Event Details

We are thrilled to present Laura Lee Bahr! She is a multi-award winning author and independent filmmaker. Her novels Haunt is the winner of the Wonderland Book Award for Best Novel of 2011. Her short story collection, Angel Meat, was the 2017 winner of the Wonderland Book Award for Best Collection. She is the writer/director of the unromantic comedy Boned and in April 2020 wrote for the noir edition of byNWR (visionary director Nicholas Winding Refn's curated streaming site). Her psychological thriller short Strange Bird will be released by 2022.
From the author about what she'll be sharing, "You may choose an adventure that leads you to a melting memoir, a tangerine, a dead princess in a block of ice, or a small space f**k in this multimedia, sensory No Shush. You are invited to this magical interactive spell-cast for Zoom fatigued and shapeshifter-curious. There will be cat pics. Wigs and whiskers are encouraged."
