Thursday Night Out, Oak Park’s popular dine-around series, runs May 24 through August 30 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm.  Twenty Downtown Oak Park restaurants offer a variety of drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts on the TNO menu and allow diners to eat inside or carry out. This year, the festivities include family-friendly activities, a balloon artist, and a free world music concert series. Learn more about Downtown Oak Park

Book Bike: Day in Our Village Summer Carnival

Join the Book Bike at the Park District of Oak Park's annual A Day In Our Village Summer Carnival at Rehm Park (515 Garfield Street). This family-friendly celebration includes carnival games, a live DJ, inflatables, local food vendors, and access to the playground and Rehm Park trains.

Weather permitting, the Book Bike will pop up to help you kick off your summer reading goals from 1 to 4 pm. 

Across town in Scoville Park, the Village of Oak Park sponsors the Day In Our Village community festival from 11 to 5 pm, which involves more than 100 activity and information booths (including the Library and Friends of the Oak Park Library), near Lake Street and Oak Park Avenue.
