Event Details

Have you ever said to a friend, neighbor, co-worker or classmate, "What this community really needs is …"?

Are you looking for support—and possibly start-up/seed money—to launch your idea for community change?

Entrepreneur Leaders in Philanthropy (ELP), a giving group established by the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation, will award an annual seed grant of $50,000 from the ELP Fund through its annual "Big Idea" grant competition. Big Idea submissions are being accepted now through January 4, 2019. Finalists will be announced in the spring of 2019.

To help community members exchange and hone their ideas, trained library facilitators will lead dynamic, aspiration-based discussion in small groups.

Let's connect and collaborate to get our community's creative juices flowing!

Bring your ideas, opinions, and connect with your neighbors and colleagues to help turn your big idea into a reality!
